Another example of Hoffpauir Studio’s work in a historic neighborhood, the Cedardale Residence breaks the building into two volumes, the front house and the back garage. This keeps the form of the structure responsive to its context. The floor plan is semi-open, utilizing wing walls and a fire place to separate the different functions without creating enclosed rooms. Light colors accented by old wood and white trim give the house an open and welcoming feeling.
