North Toledo Bend State Park

The North Toledo Bend Entrance Station provides an access point to the eastern shore of one of the country’s largest manmade reservoirs. This reservoir provides visitors to the park with a wide variety of water-related activities and more than 900 acres of pine-filled lands available for camping, picnicking, and hiking.

The building is utilized as an educational center, a Park Rangers office, and a display area of local art and findings from the property. The design takes advantage of the abundance of filtered natural light through incorporating a glass box with deep overhangs as the building’s gallery and gathering space.
